Vacations are the best. I enjoy going to the Oregon coast. I can tell when we are almost there by the smell in the air, you know I have a really good olfactory system, ahh salt air here I come.
I love running wild chasing the waves and greeting other dogs. I get to go on long walks too and lay in the warm sand. Dad brings a bottle of water and my bowl, for when I get really thirsty. And do I ever from all that running. Did I tell you about all the other dogs out on the beach? Oh boy that is such fun to sniff each other out.
Oh yes, then there is doggy daycare. That is such a fun place. It is filled with couches, chairs, real beds and more dogs to play with. My people take me there when they go fishing and crabbing. That is always a special day because that night we eat fresh crab, just so yummy.
I go in and help pick out continental breakfast, remember to get the peanut butter and some of that yogurt for me. Did I tell you I just love vacations, oh how I do.
We go into Newport, what a fabulous place. Fish, dogs, treats, a store just for me. I nose around & let my people know what treats I want. I picked out pumpkin pie and apple pie cookies this year.
