Widows and Investing

September 24, 2019

Let's hope this has been the most difficult year that you will ever have to experience.

Each widow moves at her own pace, it is important not to make major decisions while the room is spinning. Maybe you have a young family to take care of, or maybe you are on your own. More over one of the first steps is understanding what your family's bills and cost of living are.

Your financial portfolio that  was designed for you and your husband may or may not be what is best for you now. Widows often answer "none", to a risk questionnaire.

A four-point action plan includes taking inventory, prioritizing, holding off on big decisions and developing and implementing a financial blueprint.

Women comprise the majority of the widowed individuals in the U.S.

With your financial education growing, and your world feeling less intimidating, other life choices can begin to become clearer to you.
